I am one of the founders of a Facebook cure research group, it is a forum where you can talk about pretty much anything you want, from cures, treatments, vaccines and actually personal experiences(Although its primary objective is towards cure research). Really the only rule, is that we do Not allow Conspiracy theories (ex. why there is no cure, etc..).
You are welcome to join and learn more about what's going on in cure research.
I also have a webpage at www.herpescure.webs.com
This is how you join
Only the members of the group can see that your on it. You must first add me as a friend, and then i can add you to the group, make sure you send me a email on facebook so i will know to add you to the group, you can add me by going to http://www.facebook.com/wwdamron .

I can also help hook you up with several facebook groups dealing primarily with support.

after being involved with herpes online for the past 15 years, is that people who are sensitive about having herpes don't want to do anything online that even hints about their herpes. Joining a Facebook group, at least using their real name is probably going to make them nervous even if it's billed as a "secret group". While it's possible to create an alter-ego on Facebook, it's discouraged. This has certainly worked against us over the years in the area of getting donations to help with maintaining this web site. I'd much rather have donations than ads, but that's not how it worked out.

Good luck with your web and Facebook pages.
