If you are feeling suicidal please seek help from a professional. As hard as it may seem right now, this will get better. Please take the time to read the posts here and even the free handbook. This is a virus and in time you will see that it is nothing but a pest at best.
What kind of meds are you taking? There are only three on the market that will help with HSV, Valtrex, Acyclovir and Famvir. If your HSV is not going away then you could be having something else going on along with the HSV OB--something like a yeast infection. If you have been taking the proper meds at the proper dosage, then you may wish to seek help from a doctor to rule anything else out.
I know how hard it is to get over a broken heart at any age but this too will heal in time. The very nature of this virus makes it very hard to determine the who, what and wheres as you can have it and never have an outbreak or have one many many many years after contracting it. Without proper testing prior to having sex with someone also makes determining where this came from difficult. If you ever had sex prior to your most recent man, then it is very well possible that you caught this a while ago and something just recently triggered your OB.
Read as much as you can about this virus as knowledge is power and the more you know, the more comfortable you will be having this virus and the better you will be when discussing this with future partners and yes, there will be future partners.
Once again, please call a professional if you feel suicidal.
