"Question about location of outbreaks on back of head"

I contracted HPV 2 around 5 years ago (two blood tests proved I had 1 and 2) and at first it started on my face and then I could feel the virus travel to the back of my head and neck where it seems to be staying. Every few weeks I will get these clear liquid filled pimples somewhere on my scalp and am wondering if this is folliculitus or HPV?

My doctor said HPV is just in one location on your body, but I think he is wrong and it spread. Or could it be folliculitis like he says? He did a culture on one of the pimples twice in two years and found nothing both times.

I am just wondering what it could be.

HPV is a different virus than HSV.
