"Gnawing ache"
LAST EDITED ON May-05-11 AT 11:10 PM (CDST)
I'm four days into my primary OB and have just started to experience this gnawing tingling ache down the backs of my legs. Is this neuralgia? I've read that people sometimes experience this BEFORE an OB but mine is current.

What does neuralgia even really mean when related to hsv2? Are my nerves are dying? And how long will this go on- has anybody else experienced this?

Ah geez.

The virus irritates your nerves. They aren't dying. Some people have this type of pain before or during an outbreak and other people don't. I get it once in awhile, but not with each outbreak.
