Monkey see, Monkey do.

I didn't want our ghsv1-ers to feel left out.

Be sure to post a comment if your obs are being reduced by suppressive therapy.

Actually muffinbum there was a method to my polling. I wanted to put a few days in between each poll so that folks could better keep up with them. Was hoping to get enough responses to make these worthwhile putting in the hall of fame for reference. I have a few other poll questions too to go with all this Since you put this one up - I'm going to edit it a bit too to go with what I have planned.

ok i picked the green one, 4-6 a year, but i'm sort of between the blue and the green. the thing is, i probably only get 2 or 3 actual OBs a year (and they're relatively minor) but i get symptoms that I often THINK will become OBs about 4-6 times a year. That's when I'm not on my daily megds. When I take my daily meds, I get symptoms maybe 1-2 a year and it's pretty minor so sometimes I think maybe it's just after-menstrual cycle itching when my body's a bit funky and out of whack down there.

Well actually that would be the "not sure" category if you aren't sure what is ob's and what isn't quite yet.

i've had one initial one 9 months ago..though i haven't had another one like that..but i sure have had a problem with bacterial vaginosis which i think is worse than a herpes breakout. i would liken bv to a mini version of hell for the crotch.

I've only had the initial one, and a mild one there after, but I can't tell if it was actually part of the initial one. Haven't had one since. It's been about 8 or 9 months now.

Mine are about once a year or so. No suppression.

I've gone as long as 2 years without an ob.

I chose 1-3/year usually. It's more like once every two years so far, but I guess I can still say that averages to once/year!

I've had it for 2 1/2 years now, with my initial ob, and then nothing obvious for a little over 2 years.

Well I was just diagnosed a couple of weeks ago. I read that you may get one every other year, so thatís what I hoping for.

Just found out mine is H1, and it would be 18 years old and can't remember the last time I even had prodrome.

I would say the first year sucked, had about 3 obs.

Then they got fewer.

And I have never been on supression of any kind.

I have been outbreak free for 3 years now. I only had my initial outbreak. Just recently I thought maybe I had one, went to the doctor and my culture tested negative.
