2. "RE: hsv2 orally"|
In response to message #1
I notice Oral hsv2 is downplayed! I get buttocks hsv2 about twice a year, if that (haven't had an outbreak since taking aspirin). After years of not knowing my buttock outbreak was herpes, the only thing I've ever passed on during sex (during the first year I had what I thought was a boil on the bottom),was an oral cold sore. The man I slept with said he'd got a cold sore, and never had one before! I do get a tiny little bump that tingles by my mouth, and didn't realize this could be oral hsv2.|
I've never passed on genital hsv2,even when having unprotected sex during an outbreak, only this little cold sore. The man in question says he doesn't seem to get any more coldsores, so I'm thinking it sounds like an hsv2 coldsore.
So, it sounds like oral hsv2 is easy to spread to me, even though literature says hsv2 doesn't like the mouth!
