   Hello everyone,

It has been months since I have posted on here the last time I posted I was devestated by my dx and I thought life was over for me. I just wanted to update everyone on how things are coming along for me.

Well Ive learned the best way to healing is to continue breathing. I am blessed, truly I am not in the same space I was in months ago it may sound crazy but I feel like my dx changed me for the better. No everyday is not a good day but thats normal for anyone. I am loving life while is loves me back and I am still with my daughters father he tested negative in the past but we have come to find out that he took the wrong testing and not a type specific, however at this point he has no desire to be retested so we dont speak about it anymore because its a non issue.

So to all the newbies who thinks your life is over please dont because its not. Herpes is truly no different from having a common cold, or chicken pox they are all viruses that never leave your system. As for me and outbreaks I rarely get them and when I do I barely notice them. I try my best to avoid certain foods and exercise when I can. I take a daily supplement of Vitamin C, B-12, and Lysine. I was on suppressive therapy but it is expensive so im going to take a break and see how my body reacts to it with out meds. Im crossing my fingers lol. So, I want to thank all of you for the support when I was down and out.

Growth means change and change involves risk, stepping from the known to the unknown =)

I'm glad you're doing so much better.

Acyclovir is generic and quite cheap. If you haven't tried that for suppression, maybe it would be less expensive for you.

I am so happy for you. The way I think about it is a factor for my obs. The more I stresses about it, the more chances that it'll develop to be a real ob. But I haven't really totally forgotten about it. Its because I have daily medications that I need to consume still.
