"autoinoculation paranoia"

can you autoinoculate yourself if you dont have a blister?

lets say you were to rub or touch your lip which hasn't had a blister for a little over a month now and then touch your private area, could it reinfect you?

i had my first outbreak towards the end of march early april of 2016 so its been about 4 months... is that enough time to have immune system defense against autoinoculation?

thank you for all answers!

Life is too short to spend it worrying about this sort of thing. In the overall scheme of things, herpes just isn't that awful. I've had it genitally for over 20 years. Life is good.

If it were that easy to spread imagine all of the kids with cold sores. Those kids touch them pick their nose scratch their butt.....

If it were that easy to spread we would have kids with a body full of cold sores.

Now it can spread but it isn't as easy as touching a sore and then touching your genitals 2 min later....
