"1st OB - nerve pain"

   Hello,
My first outbreak and taking Valtrex. About one week into symptoms, I've had bad pain going from lower back, to inner thighs, back thigh, even to calf and feet. Both sides. How long will this pin and needle pain last? It even feels like it's in my spine.

You are doing the right thing with Valtrex. It should shorten this episode which, most likely, will be the worst one you will have. The only other thing I would suggest is a good pain meds. You might talk to a neurologist about this.
