"I've been more then a little confused"

i tested positive for ghsv2 on my birthday what a lovely gift from my ex .. anyways at a 63.00 O.O . i have no idea what this means. ive been looking around about this and noticing that everyone elses is extreamly low compared to mine . my symptoms are barely noticeable i get one or two soars no pain no itching . i probably wouldnt have evan noticed anything wrong if my ex didnt mention having it . by the way i had a blood test done . also ever since i had my first ob i noticed my V smells a little funkie . i first noticed after my P n i freaked out not only do i have to deal with the herps but now this smell . i was tested for and treated for everything under the sun litterally just to be safe. and my doctor told me theres nothing wrong with me and if there was i was treated for it and that maybe the smell was just my body recouperating after being treated for so many different things... witch i think is what messed me up to begin with.. then why the smell . i have come to believe the smell comes with the ghv2 . altho most people deny that i dont know what else it could be .. just to be clear on this .. when i got my positive test result for ghsv2 i was treated for syphilis chlamydia gonorrhea yeast and bv . only to have ghsv2 be my problem . its now been 7 months ive been living with this ive come to notice it on my fiance now who i think i may have gotten the smell from hes uncircumcised and i had just started seeing him after this whole fiasco .. he knew about the potential threat of getting it. but i asked him about it and ive had him smell me and he doesnt seam to notice any problem but i do and so do my coworkers at times its noticeable if im in one place for to long .. i can manage the smell any other time then when im at work . with a cleanser ph balancing and a change of undies . its usually not bad . any help or incite to anything i had to say would be greatly appreciated .

i would also like to point out that i got this tested shortly after i had gotten a small pox vaccine . maybe why the number was so high?

Maybe you want to post your test results exactly how they are written on the paper including the type of test that was done. The number seems weird to me based on the usual tests that are done.

Odor is more typical of a bacterial infection which is not uncommon for women to get on top of a herpes outbreak, so it might be a good idea to get tested for BV. Not everyone is symptomatic.

I have heard of people reporting a different odor with outbreaks. I haven't noticed it myself, but I think some people are more sensitive to odors. I wouldn't assume that it's herpes without being tested for bacterial vaginitis though.

i dont remember exactly how but from what i do it was like this

hsv igg <1><2>...........63.00

then it had the scale of positive results and negative results under it
like..
.o1 negative
1.15 positive
or something like that

i also asked my mother about the results because she is a RN and she had no idea either.

ive herd that the igg tests can come up positive for other things like diabetes, witch does run in my family. ive had itcy hands at night when i go to sleep aslo.

it is very hard for me to get an appointment with a doctor because i am in the military overseas. its a hastle to get a ride across base to medical let alone talk to a doctor who has any idea what is going on i sware none of them have a clue. and to also find a reason to go without everyone in ur command up your a hole. and the only reason i havent gone is because i havent found it to be a real problem just yet. other then the smell i feel healthy.

my doctor previously gave me medication for bv and it didnt help. i was wondering if there was anything i could pick up from the store or any idea on what that igg result means ?!

I guess it would probably make sense at some later date to get another test or get a culture of an actual sore. 63 is well beyond the range of the usual numbers on the test and maybe it's a typo or something.

Having a small pox vaccine or a family history of diabetes isn't going to change the test result.

You can get something called femdopolis from the health food store and it can help eiyh bv by restoring normal vaginal flora.

hsv igg <1><2>...........63.00

Looks like a combined result for hsv1 and hsv2. That isn't really helpful, since most people have oral hsv1 whether they know it or not.

The correct spelling is femdophilus. The way it's spelled above suggests (to me) "The City of Female Dominatrices"

nm, frget I sed it.
