"Western Blot"
I've been doing research on false positives for those who have never had OBs and I'm considering getting a Western Blot. Does anyone have any experience, advice, anything to share at all about WBs? Thanks!

of herpes testing, but no test is 100%. The WB has been around for a long time and tests for more and different enzymes than the ELISA tests like the HerpeSelect. It's a more difficult test to perform and is only done by the University of Washington, but can be ordered by a doctor or clinic anywhere. They just need to be aware of it and not everyone is. Some doctors confuse it with the Western blot for HIV.

False positives are considered to be very unlikely in general.
