"Risk during OB on back"

I only get small OB about 1/ yr & only on lower back/ upper buttocks . If no one comes into contact with the OB ( cover it w/ band-aide) is the risk of transmission any higher during the OB when no OB?

Some of the nerves that go to the lower back and buttocks come from the same nerve roots and ganglia as the nerves that go to the genitals, so there may be viral shedding in the genitals when there's a lower back or buttocks outbreak.Short answer: yes, the risk may be higher.
